The Tamil Nadu Government has announced a major step in digital governance — sharing anonymised public data across sectors like health, agriculture, and education to train AI models.
Under its “AI for All” initiative, the government identified 55 potential use-cases where Artificial Intelligence can improve decision-making and service delivery.
The project will operate under strict privacy protocols, masking all personal details before releasing data to startups and researchers.
Officials said this initiative will help Tamil Nadu become a leading AI innovation hub in India.
